Social Politic's Influences in Ideal Husband

Based on Monarchic politic system, there some levels of society. The high (aristocrat), middle, and low class. The circumstance makes a stereo type amongs the women to have a dandy, rich, and settle man like, Robert as the one character who potrays it (the ideal husband).
In this era , there were many women who had not tasted the feminisme. A woman must stay at home and service the husband and family as their natural duty, not too persue the career and talent. For example in the drama, lady Chiltren who had the power of politics, she only could play behind her husband, and even she was the rich one. The weakness of feminism value also became the background’s problem of the story.
People at that time still used Victorian ideals that were founded on a binary system. Morality was absolute; to be accepted and considered ‘good’ by society, a person had to embody all values and behaviours on the moral side of the binary. Conservative and morality at that time was so high that people needed to follow and accept it. It is also the thing which influenced this story by Oscar Wildie.
